On BI4, I use JSON to send an alert to HS3.
#Blue iris service mode how to
Is this as simple as changing temp time to zero? If not, I suppose I'll have to have a recurring, conditions based trigger to reapply the profile until my conditions in HS are no longer met (something I'm already doing with my zwave thermostat which cannot have its eco mode triggered remotely).Īny other suggestions on how to use HS with BI? For example, if I set profile 1, instead of it reverting back after the number of minutes specified in temp time, I want it to persist until I change it to something else. Something I have not found in the documentation is a way to make the "temp time" in profiles to never revert. I'd like for BI to only capture and email images when motion is detected during away/vacation times (I have a separate 24/7 16TB NVR for regular recording). I'd like to use BI for 24/7 motion monitoring to HS, with HS reacting to motion based on occupancy conditions. Given this, I'm thinking I should turn the schedule off in BI and just add profile changes to my existing HS events. I currently have events setup based on time, overridden by Alexa/Echo or HSTouch interaction to manage home/away/holiday/vacation modes in the house (Still getting geofencing to be reliable, so that's out). I've got BI integrated with HSTouch, using BP2008's "better" web interface and it's incredible. I just started using BI a few days ago and installed the plugin yesterday. For those of you using the BI plugin, do you use HS, BI or both to control profiles?
